Manchester-based The 7:45s put the 'Northern' in Northern Soul. 'Too Little Too Late' is an upbeat stomper built for an all-nighter at Wigan Casino. But the chorus is an earworm you can't shake off. Craig Charles has already played it on BBC Radio 6 Music. Trafford-born vocalist Martin Connor pleads but he's brushed off by the girl-group backing. Recorded at EVE Studios in Stockport, 'Too Little Too Late' has a vintage sound and a live feel. The 7:45s release their second single digitally (and then on 45 vinyl) through LRK Records on Friday 7 February. Keep the faith.
